Studying implies a lot of sedentary work, so, from time to time, it is necessary to unwind by stretching your arms. Try doing these exercises:
- Lay on your back with your arms alongside your body and the palms of your hands facing down. Stretch your legs with your toes forward. Draw an imaginary half-circle with your arms and put them behind your head, palms up this time. With each breath, stretch your arms and legs in opposite direction, as if you wanted to reach a remote object. Keep your limbs tense for about five seconds, and then return the arms in their initial position, breathing slowly and relaxing all the muscles in your body.
- Sit on the floor with your legs extended forward. Slowly bend your torso and, without flexing the legs, touch your feet with your hands, so that your torso lays entirely on your legs. You can stay like this for three or four minutes.
