Aim: We will learn the correct procedure for using a Digital Camera to allow us to take photographs of our community
Implementation-Facilitation
A. Motivation
1. Before taking our walking trip around the community the class will learn how to use a Digital Camera.
2. The class will learn about the important parts of a Digital camera.
a. Vocabulary: Power button, Camera/Play Button, Lens, Zoom Button, Lens Cap
B. Method
3. The teacher will show the students the various parts of the Digital Camera
4. The teacher will tell them the name of each part and what it is used for.
a. For example, the teacher will show them where the power button is and explain that this is how to turn the camera on and off.
5. Then the teacher will allow students to take turns trying the different parts of the Digital Camera.
6. Next, the class will try taking some pictures around the classroom for practice.
7. When the students are relatively familiar with the Digital Camera, the class will go on a walking trip around the community to take photographs.
Grouping
1. This lesson will be conducted as a whole class.
Student Activities
1. The students will learn new vocabulary words (stated previously).
2. The students will work as a whole class to learn the correct way to use the Digital Camera to take photographs.

Reinforcers:
1. The students will learn the vocabulary words they learned in order to be able to teach other students in the future how to use a digital camera.
2. The students will use what they learned about the Digital Camera to take photographs of the community.
Evaluation:
Measurement of the students ability to recall information by being able to go out and use the Digital Camera without teacher assistance.
