It was just a normal day, I woke up at six o' clock. I jumped out of bed and
noticed
that the sun wasn't out yet so I accidentally fell right back to sleep. When I woke
back up the second time my mother was dipping water on my face from a wet towel.
I jumped up and said "what the!?!" As my mother walked away I looked
at my alarm clock and saw that it was six forty-five. The first thing I thought
was "Oh no I 'm going to be late" I quickly jumped into my clothes,
ran up front
and popped a toaster strudel in the toaster. As I was waiting for the strudel
to
be ready, I made myself a glass of milk. After I was done with the milk the
strudel
was ready. I popped out of the toaster and let it cool down. Went to go get
my
bag and when I came back to the strudel I rapidly ate it. When I was done I went
to go brush my teeth. When I was finally done I ran out of the door.
It was
about seven twelve when I left the building. I walked to the train station
and waited
for the four train at one hundred and sixty first street. The train took so
long I thought I was waiting there for about thirty minutes. When the four train
finally
got to me I felt so tired. Luckily I got a seat and started to look over the
homework
on the train. I was so into the work that when my stop came up I forgot all
about
it. I don't understand how it happened but as soon as I looked up it was time
for
me to get off the train. I ran out of the train door. When I looked back the
doors
were shut and I realized that my homework was was still on the train. I was
so
scared of what all of teachers would say. When I actually acknowledged that
the
homework was gone, I looked at the time on my cell phone. It was almost 8:00, I didn't want to be late so I ran up the stairs and out of the train station.
When
I got out of the station I ran to the school. By the time I got there I was
out
of breath and the time was 8:05. I gained my breath back and walked up the
stairs.
My first class was spanish there was no homework for it so I got through it
like
a breeze. Most all of the other classes I got yelled at in. So far the whole
day
has been bad. At lunch time me and my friends Sam, Tefe and Carlos
were
going to the special pizza place. The pizza there was so good that it tasted
even better
if you were the first student there. There where lots of regulars and no one
would
want to get there last because it was a small pizza place. My friends
and I always take a shortcut through Stuyvesant town. We were on our way when
Carlos
saw the other regulars. Sam told me to run up ahead, so I could try to beat
them
there. I ran past the group of regulars to get there first. When they saw me
they
started to run too, but I didn't look back I was in the zone. When I started
to
get tired I slowed down and someone caught up to me. He also started to get
tired
when he stopped we started to talk and call it a draw. While he and I walked,
Carlos
caught up as well. While Carlos distracted the regular I regained my energy
and
ran one last block to get there first.
I walked in with such satisfaction and
ordered a fresh slice of pizza. It taste so good that I thought I was going
to burst. By the time everyone else got there I was done with my slice. The
next three peoplethat came in were Tefe, Carlos and Sam. When the regulars
came in they were allbreathless. One by one I laughed in there faces. "Ha
ha, ha ha" I said.I even took up an extra seat so some of them would have
to stand, just to brag.
Then I thought to myself, this day is starting to turn out good. When all of
my
friends were done with their pizza we all left with big smirks on our faces.
We
all had a hardy laugh as we walked towards the school. Even as we walked up
stairs
we were still laughing. As we arrived at the fifth floor Sam split up to go
to his
class. Tefe, Carlos and myself went off to our next class.
The rest of the
theday was a breeze., It was nerve wracking though. When school was over, I
met up withNic, Tefe Sam and Carlos. We were all going to hang out in the park
like we usuallydo. As the park was in sight, I saw that it was rented out for
a party. So we waited and waited until they left, it took hours and hours but
we wouldn't give
up. We watched as more and more people gathered around the park to get in,
people
got so mad that they started to climb over the fence and force the party out.
It
started to get violent and that's when the party moved out. When me and my
friends
got into the park I saw some green paper on the floor. I ran over to it and
gave
a closer look and it was a one hundred dollar bill. I thought to myself, good
things
come to those who wait.
